So, I need to lose about 10 more pounds to get to my goal of 22% body fat (I've already lost 30, and I'm female). I've been eating around 50g carbs per day most of the time since I started eating Primal with most of the carbs coming from vegetables. However, I'm becoming more active, doing more sprints and more strength training, so I'm thinking about upping my carb intake to closer to 100g.
I would love it if I could make two big glasses of milk (about 24 oz. total) a large source of my daily carbohydrates. Milk would also help a lot with my protein requirements. Whole-fat, non-homogenized milk has consistently been one of my cheats (though not a daily cheat) through most of my weight-loss journey. It's seriously one of my favorite things. I'd rather drink milk with dinner than eat ice cream afterwards. I grew up on a small dairy farm, and I have no problems digesting dairy. Any suggestions about how to incorporate this into my diet, or warnings? I usually get this brand: Ronnybrook Farm Dairy However, they are Holsteins which mean A1 protein, if I recall correctly. If necessary, I could go to Whole Foods and get Sky Top Farms milk, which is at least partially Jersey. The price isn't terribly different.
