Your health is more important than her ego, RT. If you can't come right out and refuse just tell her you like to take it home and have it for dessert. Then work up to just saying no. But you know....there may be one or two other people in the office that would also love to turn down the cupcakes and are looking for someone else to do it first.

Welcome to the cave. Such a great first post Your avatar is just fine! I've been lazy but will upload a pic of myself eventually too.

"Flab grenade" and "death cake"....two phrases I wish I had chosen for my username....haha.

Thank you Mama Mare. I hope that as we walk in this SAD world we can always come back to the cave and share some laughs around the fire.

I feel you Nala, I walked by an Easter display today in the local Thriftway and I heard their siren call. Man I use to kill those things, they are definitely dinosaur eggs. Do not let that encounter get you down, the Sugar-saurs doesn't always run at you head on ala Cupcake slinger, sometimes that bait you.

I appreciate the logic little vase and the advice, but before I entered the cave I was her partner in SAD. I have read many post in this regard and I have spoken to "Dances with Sugar" about starting to workout together at work for accountability. She seemed interested, but can not stop baking and she is easily offended. It would be an ordeal, in my mind, to sit in the cubicle next to her, for however long I will remain at my job and hear her spite. I prefer a more harmonious working environment. Thank you for your comments and you are welcome to those phrases as they have yet to be copyrighted.

Okay my fellow cave dwellers gather around the fire, I have a bit of a victory to share! This was my first morning that I woke up with zero hunger!!! I didn't even need my coffee with heavy cream. I ate last night at 7pm and it was 12:30 in the afternoon today when I finally had anything to eat or drink and right now I'm still not hungry!!! My wife and daughter are still out there in the land of SAD, so I had to come into cave and dance around.

    Thanks for listening.
