That was pretty much my experience also. I figured the scale would go up, but still I was rather surprised because I really felt thinner in places. And I feel good, so I figure it's all good. But it wasnt until I increased my calories even more, that the scale has started to move back down again. My low days are about 300 under BMR and my high days are pretty close to BMR. I should probably even throw in a maintenance now and then, but I am still trying to refigure this all out myself. It was a damn miracle that I lost 70lbs already.

Thank you for all the encouraging success stories everyone! I appreciate it. I've been enjoying this discussion quite a bit. Now, I'm just excited for more time to pass to see what happens for me. I've been finding that I'm hitting close to my caloric target easily with just allowing myself to not feel limited by quantity. To go much over that would really feeling like stuffing myself.
I'm curious how quickly I will be able to gain muscle now compared with my past diet. I'm really trying to pack it on, especially in the rumpI just discovered WEIGHTED hip thrusts. I mostly want to just get stronger with a minimum of size increase for my upper body, but hubby would like some extra girth to my butt and thighs so I'm doing more reps for the bottom half.
I hope the "you're" instead of "your" was tongue-in-cheek, then.
