"Thanks for the advice" should be all you need.

Although I am currently taking a break from my current daily salad, I would say it's definitely my favorite thing to eat. It always contains meat, egg, cheese, sunflower seeds, and my own dressing. Which is paleo mayo based. Which is olive oil based. Take that fat haters. I consider the greens as a vehicle for the good stuff. Ok, I should go that far, I can seriously get excited over spinach and lettuces.
The process is simple: Free your mind, and your ass will follow.

It's amazing to me that people won't just mind their business. I watch my co-workers eat plenty of unhealthy things, and I would never call their microwaved pizza/ fried takeout/ bakery explosion gross to their faces.

Like one of the other posters said, only take advice from people in better shape than you. Taking nutrition advice from people who constantly complain about feeling fat/ tired/ sick is like taking financial advice from people who constantly complain that they can't afford their credit card payments but keep buying stuff.

Slightly off topic, but you know who makes the best salads (well, for a chain restaurant)? Rising Roll. I ask them to make me a Cobb salad without the cheese, and it's amazing! It's HUGE and the chicken and bacon and egg are so good it doesn't even need dressing. It's one of those salads that's mostly "toppings." You can thank me later.

I like my salads with a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio of toppings to lettuce.

I'm new to the paleo idea, but I've lived it for some years, its the processed crap that kills me. I have always enjoyed a "man salad" Sorry if it's sexist, but it's what I called it. A little lettuce and meat, peppers, meat, maybe some beets, a little meat, and then some bacon bits instead of croutons. Do they make meat dressing?
