What's your thoughts on using juicers with eating primal?

    Primal Fuel
I am thinking about getting a juicer but I read that it's actually healthier to just eat they fruit or veggie whole. Thoughts?

I think juicing is great for those who wouldnt eat as much veg/fruit otherwise. Great way to get in extra nutrients.

I don't see an issue with juicing...as long as you use a cold press juicer.
The only thing you're losing is the fiber from the whole fruit/veggie.
But since its in a liquid state, your body can quickly absorb the nutrients versus having to break it down...but then again...the breakdown part does use up calories to do the breakdown....

so..whatever you want to do...depending on your goals.

The issues are High GI rating because as juice it is basically sugar solution and often because there is no work involved also high GL, when the juice craze hit, many people wondered why they were putting on weight until they calculated the calories they were consuming.

Personally just another pointless toy in the kitchen IMO.

I juice kale, cucumber, celery and half an apple as often as I can for my morning drink. I find it far more invigorating and pleasant than coffee. My holistic assessor fwiw thinks that will offset the acidity from meat (not that I care). I think green juice like that is better than tea or coffee tbh.

My kid and my husband would drink box juices, so I find it better if they drink freshly squeezed fruit juice from organic fruit instead. It's less than a cup each and they like it with their breakfast.

Primal lifestyle might not accommodate juices, but simple 'trying do your best while still enjoying life' lifestyle may.

I've never been a juice drinker but I honestly could not be bothered with a juicer because I hear that they are a bitch to clean. If I want loads of fruits and veggies in a quick, drinkable format, I just do a smoothie (to which I can add protein powder or a fat), or the gazpacho recipe on MDA. I loooooove that gazpacho. I could eat the whole yield in one day all by myself.

Ditto (except for the gazpacho part... yuck!).

I make smoothies a few times a week, using coconut milk + water + frozen berries + at least a cup of veggies (usually spinach or cucumber) + optional stuff (whey protein powder, egg whites, vanilla extract, cinnamon, cocoa, coconut flakes, nuts, seeds, nut butters, etc.)

Juicing is awesome and is in no way contrary to eating Primal. I juice all the time, fruit and vegetable included.

I do smoothies a few times a week. I normally do kale or spinach with some berries, coconut/almond milk, and a half a banana.

People say I am on a "crazy" diet. What is so crazy about eating veggies, fruits, seafood and organ meats? Just because I don't eat whole wheat and processed food doesn't make my diet "crazy". Maybe everyone else with a SAD are the "crazy" ones for putting that junk in their system.
