Situations like that, it's so hard. The snack basket at work (chocolates, cookies, crackers, all the time) is right behind my desk and I have the same difficulties. It's right there! I want some! I need to start bringing some primal snacks in, or at least some damn fruit.
I ended up going for a walk and then going home and eating half a can of tuna. Yumm.

It's not food. And you don't want those evil big food companies that are trying to purposefully poison you and get you addicted to keep you in their clutches, right? Don't sell your stomach share to them.

I went through that at work today. Once a month the company furnishes something junky like this month -- bagels with cream cheese.
My compromise? I brought an organic Fuji apple in, sliced it and covered it with cinnamon, and got a giant heaping scoop of the hazelnut cream cheese for the side. NO grains. :-)
