Not New to Primal...But New Here - and regretting a food choice today
I was first introduced to Primal almost two years ago. I tried it out, loved it, but was not committed and went back to my "easy" eating. About six months ago, I started a "don't cook it, don't eat it" policy that basically said what it sounds like: if it isn't cooked in a home, I don't eat it. The idea was to move myself away from the crap I had become accustomed to - eating out. A lot.
I've been really wanting to get back into Primal and intended to clear out the kitchen and pantry this weekend and start anew.
And today, I proved to myself why this must be done. I was in a hurry and didn't pack lunch. So what did I do? I grabbed a burger from some local fast food joint. And HOLY CRAP I feel like death. My mouth feels coated in wax and my stomach wants to escape through my throat. Ugh. This is why I don't eat this crap anymore.
Welcome.. it's a great place to learn and keeps you on track.
Welcome, and good luck with getting back into Primal
