When I started primal my TSH was 5.11.
A couple weeks ago when they tested it it was .4
    Which is a huge difference.
I try to keep my carbs around 50ish, but I don't see why that
    would affect my skin.
I agree that it's probably just toxins and will straighten itself out.

I am going to focus on drinking more water to see if that
    helps flushing toxins.

I'm originally a Medical Aesthetician, practiced for over 10 years and keep my licensing current. I also have had thyroid disease since my late teens, which is extremely RARE!! I've never fallen into the category of being overweight due to thyroid disease or allowing it to control me like that. Your skin changes for every reason under the sun, from diet, exercise, weather and anything else. Your hormones change a great deal when you change your diet, start exercising and with age, your skin is effected by that too. My suggestion, avoid putting oils on your face, including coconut oil. Most people don't realize how much they touch their face during the day either, try to keep your hands off of your face along with cleaning your cell phone on a regular basis. You have to cleanse and moisturize your skin daily. It seems weird to think to moisturize your skin when you're breaking out with pimples, but it's your body trying to possibly 1) overcompensating for not having enough hydration and 2) getting rid of toxins in your skin. Drink TONS of water.... cleanse and hydrate, I recommmend the products from derma e if you want to lean more towards natural products. Here is their website. Skin Care Products by derma e | Cruelty-Free Body Care This is my two cents... without having ever seen your skin up close and personal and with the little bit of info I have. Please feel free to message me if you'd like.
