    Question Am I doing something wrong!!! Not loosing weight :(

    Started PB Jan. 6th. Lost 7lbs right off the bat. Now onto week 6 and I haven't lost any weight for 3 weeks.

    I own a preschool and am a mom so I'm busy but do not exercise.
    40 yr old. Female. 5'4 151# goal weight 130#

    I eat 1500 cal
    110 fat
    100 pro
    50 carb

    Daily menu looks like this (although I do mix it up a bit)

    7AM: 8oz coffee with 2T heavy whipping cream

    1:00: 6oz grilled steak
    1/2 avocado
    2hard boiled eggs
    Cutie orange

    3:00 8oz coffee with 2T heavy whipping cream

    6:00 5oz turkey breast
    1c green beans with butter
    Smoothy: 3T almond butter, 1/4c coconut milk, 2t cocoa powder, water

    Why am I not loosing weight??? What am I doing wrong???

    Eat more Veges!! 1 cup of green beans is no where near enough. Get back to basics. Eat Vegetables and meat. Big ass salad for lunch with your steak and avocado. huge plate of veges at dinner with your turkey breast.

    I'm five foot 3, and I do not lose weight at 1500 calories unless I exercise.

    We're about in the same boat. I started PB on January 1st. Was eating low carb for a long time but indulged over te holidays and needed boundaries around my food which PB provides.

    I'm 5'4 but 62. It took me six weeks to take off six pounds. I walk a minimum of 60 minutes a day. My current weight is 146.

    I average 1200-1400 calories a day. Carbs from veggies and a very occasional sweet potato.

    What I would try differently for a week is to have your avocado an eggs on a nice bed of greens. Throw some other veggies on there.

    I would gain weight on the Almond butter. I would add lots more veggies to your dinner. Salad with roasted veggies and an organic olive oil dressing instead of the smoothie. Just mix it up and find things that you enjoy.

    I lose weight best at around 30 carbs. It's frustrating to want to get some weight off and have it be so tough, isn't it? We're both really new to this. Let's give it time and trust in the process. It will happen!

    Yes, add salad and veges as suggested above, but drop the smoothy and at least one of the creamy coffees. We are supposed to eat food, not drink it.

    It would be good if you could fit in some exercise too, eg pushups, squats and planks 1-2x pw would be a start. Muscle burns more calories, as well as making you feel and look better.

    Without doing anything different last fall, I lost 2.5 lbs dropping the cream from my coffee. It took a couple of weeks, but you see my point. No, the coffee isn't as good, but... Also, I am 5'2 and 130 lbs, I am pretty sure I will have to drop to 1400 calories to lose more weight and I workout 5 days a week and walk the dogs about 10 miles a week. Sucks being short and not young anymore...

    I would drop the smoothie and maybe experiment with eating 1400-1200 calories a day.

    Thanks for the input! I think I will go down to 1400 calories and start walking at least 30 min a day plus a little weights. Try that for a week or so. Any opinions on only eating 2 times a day vs 3 times a day?

    Not necessary for weight loss.

    A kind of useful skill to have for when the food available to you at the time is not suitable.

    Easier to do than you might think.
