Don't worry about your calories. If you MUST concern yourself on numbers, worry about percentages. What works for for most is a higher fat percentage than protein and only 10-20% carbs from fruits/veggies. And make damn sure to eat when you are hungry, and to eat until you are no longer hungry. That right there will keep your caloric totals down, but it takes willpower to first learn what real hunger is. Then it is smooth sailing.
