3 times a week for weights may also be too much, you may make better gains doing 2 sessions and allowing more recovery time. I make gains lifting once a week just as fast as doing more sessions.
Oh and as many wil tell you 'you can't out run your fork' or 'abs are made in the kitchen' or diet to look good in clothes, excersise to look good naked' in other words all that cardio will just make you need to eat more and won't help shift the lbs.
For referance I work out 5 times a week and thought that was verging on the OTT, I do bodyweight stuff once, a bike ride, a run a sandbag session and a HIIT/sprint session. I make gains each week so once a week enought to improve at something.
You know all those pictures of Adam and Eve where they have belly button? Think about it..................... take as long as you need........................
