Grain finished beef or no beef?

    Primal Fuel
I've found a source of high quality beef, but unfortunately ALL of it is grain finished. Some of it 100 days, some 260 days. I'm really stuck between rock and hard place, here, in terms of accessing high quality organic grass fed meat. So, do I....

Buy the 100 day and eat it regardless, and don't worry about it.

Don't eat ANY beef unless I KNOW for sure it's 100% grass fed (eat lamb or fish instead).

Eat the 100 day, and supplement with CLO.

    Thoughts?

It's still healthier than eating a diet that is mostly soybeans, corn, and wheat.

    QFT.

I live in the desert, getting grass-fed meat here is not easy or cheap. I eat evil, conventional, probably clinically depressed cows with nothing to look forward too but a grass-filled afterlife. As eKatherine says, it beats soy, wheat, and other such foods. Do the best you can.

Not everyone has the budget or ability to eat grass-fed for every meal.

If there are no added hormones I would not sweat it.
Eating primal is not a diet, it is a way of life.

I would just trim all of the fat and then use a good oil for cooking. My understanding is the fat is where most of the toxins are found from the grain-fed/finished diet. Not all of us has access to, or can afford, 100% grass-fed meat.

few cattle live anyplace that it's possible to be 100% grass-fed. grain-finishing is not unusual.

    do the best you can.

and yeah, the hormones and antibiotics freak me out even more.
