Slept good. My eyes definitely are not in love with my iPad mini. Light the candles at 6 even and stopped using electronics. It cleared my mind I even already noticed yesterday.

Now I have the energy to go and find some nice fabric to ductape my window with to block the light out!

If I just can find the sleep, my live would be magic.

I like reading by candlelight before bed too, to give my mind/body a chance to 'wind down'.

I am thinking about eating fish daily. Today I started, one whole smoked mackerel, just scooped it into my mouth while cleaning it And thank goodness this was good mackerel. I bought mackerel at our local Wall Mart ( Albert Heijn) some time ago and it was so dry and taste lacking I didn't eat mackerel till just now. Today I bought some at the specialist and it was good slimy fat mackerel. Very tasty and it really leaves me with a nice feeling in my brain.

So that plus three harings and some salmon tonight should do it. I'd rather not take artificial supplements as much as I can. I think this will reach my body the best, real food!

Other good news is that since not eating nightshade family vegetables I feel a bloating in my stomach has stopped. A bloating which I didn't even know was there. Now I don't know what to do with the four peppercorns in my fridge :S

Hopefully sleep will be so much better tonight. I am about to tape some cardboard so it will be really dark in my room tonight.

Thanks for all the advise, I'll see what I think I should incorparate.

Making my room black is helping I think. Last night I slept, still woke up at 5, but kept on sleeping afterward till 10. I notice I feel more energized now. I feel like doing Spanish again, and I hadn't done that since nearly a week now.

Now the trick is to use this new energy not in any sleep depriving way such as exercise or alcohol. Shouldn't be hard.

Didn't quiet sleep like a rock though, but I think this might improve.

What btw also is something important to have in mind is that detoxifying brings the dulling and sleepiness provoking medication out of my body and so out of action in my body. I think my body needs to adjust for that and it just takes patience. And not doing any hard work on the side.

It might work too good last night I slept till 1130h. Tonightt I am gonna set an alarm, which works with light so that's nice. Light and radio. I don't get to sleep until after 2 at night, but this is probably, because I slept so bad and didn't use a clock for so long. If I'll push my waking time I am sure I'll get to sleep earlier.

Doing a reasonable amount of drawing again, which is nice.

Just one thing, I found Omega-3 actually makes me feel more anxious/odd if I take supplements. Kippers seem to be fine, and have a lot of natural creatine too, so I go for those and tins of sardines. I think omega-3 is quite an over-rated nutrient, and as with all common wisdom 'health' foods you have to read between the lines. Good quality saturated fat agrees with me more than omegas, although good quality extra virgin olive oil generally makes me feel good too

Thanks for the help chronyx. I read that vitamin B12 is quite important as is B11 so I'm thinking About buying a B vitamine supplement. Carnitine is also said to be very important against fatigue.

I am busy doing an intermitting fast. It really relaxes me. My liver area feels so happy! I have been eating full primal for more than two months now and seemed to have hit some kind of plateau. Hope this helps. I woke up pretty rested and I'll start eating around dinnertime again.

It felt really natural to fast. I just totally didn't feel like eating. It is said to have great neurological effects. I do not intend to do it every other day, but 24 hrs once every 7 to 14 days. When I think about it and sense how I feel it just makes sense. I think it resets my body and garbage is going outside of the door like it happens in all lows in life.

I am still tossing and turning a lot before I sleep. 2 hrs is no exception.

I also posted this separately in my sleep topic...

It might be the green tea (which has l-theanine), it might be my new plants, but I slept really well and the most significant change I made was starting to sport again.

Now sport, believe it or not, makes me not able to get to sleep, but since I felt such a lack of fresh air and really hated all the dull air in my room and where there cars are, I decided to take a run in the freshest forest I know. Now I did had trouble getting into sleep, but a slept deeper and last night, night two, I slept even more deep!

I am starting to think that my mental illness has got a lot to do with fake and real: meaning not only in food, but also in general life's choices, like dull dusty air and forest air. Hopefully I can keep up with 'keepin it real' and do another run next week.

I definitely had that deep sleep again, not that light sleep leaving me all day with a bad feeling in my brain like nerves are snapping.

Melatonine I tried, but found making my sleep really light and it gave me a fuzy feeling in the daytime.
