    Pistachios?

    Primal Fuel
Are pistachios legit primal snac food? They seem high in both monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fat and somewhat high in protein. PLUS they are oh so very very tasty and yet I never hear anyone say anything about them in primal forums; just talk about almonds mostly.

I think Mark has addressed this before, and says that they are primal approved, but IN MODERATION. There are some recipes he uses with the nuts as well, so I wouldn't worry about it. I eat them myself occasionally. He does highly recommend macadamia nuts though, which I myself find to be the most addicting primal snack in the world!
Overall, I'd say enjoy them every once in a while - besides, they are a powerhouse of other nutrients

Get the ones with shell on, too easy to over eat on them if you don't have to work for it.

They are high in O6, but a handful once in awhile won't kill you. Also as others have mentioned, they're very tasty and easy to overeat, and you can easily gobble up hundreds of calories in no time flat.

They are epically easy to overeat but they are tasty and glad they an OK snack food in moderation. Thanks!
