    Whey, red meat and cancer

Just thouht id pos this as i find it a little interesting. I believe varying protein sources is a no brainer, and no red meat doesnt cause cancer, at least not as the single source anyway, but is drinking the whey from your own raw milk, good protein source?

Is it like basically drinking whey protein powders, but in its unprocessed form?

Also i do believe my red meat intake was a little high in early primal days, i think 250-350 grams of red meat a week is probably plenty. High iron levels arent seen as beneficial as id imagined they would be, all you seem to hear about is anemia but never think aout actually overdosing on the stuff. Keep in mind it was kangaroo meat, which is highly likely to have been grass fed and natural etc.

Interesting...I don't even know where one would get kangaroo meat in the U.S. anyway. Could I assume it tastes like chicken?

I got some online at Marx Foods. And no it does not taste at all like chicken. It is a very dark red meaty meat. The closest thing I can compare it to would be venison. Very lean but very flavorful.
