that's a pretty great price... too bad it's from so far away. Think of all the oil required to move that pound of beef 12k miles! Amazing that it is only $5.99/lb.
Much to my pleasant surprise, my local Super Stop & Shop has a section of beef that is 100% grass-fed from Australia! Although "super", my Stop & Shop doesn't have a butchery department so I never buy the meat there; however, when I wandered past the crap-fed meat section last night, I saw a small refrigerator full of grass-fed stuff!
Different cuts of steak, ground beef, stew beef! Oh, my! $5.99/lb for the ground beef. I bought two pounds.
It may not be the best price (or maybe it is?), but anyone who has a Stop & Shop near them should give them a look-see and know that they're a good option if you need better-quality meat products.

ad astra per aspera
My local Stop & Shop has some grass-fed ground beef, didn't notice other cuts. Unfortunately, still out of my price range, but cheaper than the local Whole Foods & Trader Joe's!
