The Reason People Get Sugar Cravings (It's Not About Hunger)
If anyone is wondering why they tend to get strong cravings for sugar, then this video explains it pretty well.
It's not about hunger, the cravings are manifestations of reward-seeking behaviour where your brain wants something that releases dopamine in the reward center of the brain.

Yay dopamine! Not sure if the video goes into it but dopamine is not a chemical dependent substance release. It also occurs with pleasurable activities. Thats why some people have to displace one "addiction" with another more healthy one....such as exercise. Healthy habits have the capacity to be perceived as pleasurable too. The trick is to make that a reality for yourself.
