Hey folks. It's been ten days since I started some of Mark's naturally fermented pickles. Has anyone else made these? I just tried one and it was more salty than sour. It was good though as long as you could get past the saltiness. Any suggestions?
Start date 1/28/13--Height 5'11" Weight 260 lbs. Goal weight 175 lbs.
i actually just picked up some jars to give these a try.
from fermenting other things, though, i can say that sometimes the recipe needs to be tweaked a bit, and changes in fermenting time can create a lot of flavor change. try another day or two and see if that changes things at all.
