I find myself putting past dates up there quite often, even though I write daily. It makes me feel like time is going by too quickly. It's almost July already! I think the Earth needs to slow down for a bit. Take it easy!
Already wrote about my sleepy time, so ...
Had some matcha flavored gelatin today. It didn't set very well, and kind of had a gross texture. But, maybe I didn't wait long enough. I get excited.
Had an extra envelope of gelatin today, too. Everything else is the same.
B: coffee/stevia/matcha/gelatin/1tsp sugar.
S: 150g baby carrots with cinnamon.
L: 2 baby cucumbers, 1 tin of sardines in water, brown mustard, cilantro, basil, shredded carrots. A few bites of my bf's mashed potatoes that I made. I had to taste...!
S: 1 small banana, 70g baby carrots, hot tea + almond milk. Gelatin + mashed cherries + almond milk.
D: another banana, some chocolate flavored greek yogurt, and a big bowl of (non-GMO!)air-popped black popcorn with coconut oil, sugar, stevia, cinnamon, and pink salt. I didn't feel like cooking =/
Drinks: Slenderize Fuze (I know, shush) almond milk, coffee, green tea, sexy tea, chocolate-strawberry tea, Perrier.
Calories: ~1,000. My eating habits have not been very healthy lately ... I just need more readily available protein around the house that I don't have to take hour(s) to cook. Maybe next time I go to Whole Foods, I'll get some of those pre-cooked frozen chicken boobs that only take a few minutes to whip up. I dunno, just thinking out loud here.
Hair: Loving the sun as well. This new shampoo feels sooo yummy in my hair.
Skin: Improving! Got a bit of sun on my shoulders, but it's not burnt. My zits are clearing up to the point where I'm not feeling the need to wear so much makeup. I hate wearing foundation, so it'll be awesome when I can go au naturale.
Body: Looking a little bloated in my lower belly today. PMDD, ick. I made it a point to not weigh myself today at the gym since I felt like it would be useless due to water retention/bloat/general grossness. I sat in the sauna though, to combat some of the retention. Dunno if that works but it felt nice.
Soreness/Pain: I have grandma joint pain in my hip, still. My calves and hamstrings are stiff, too. And, I could use a massage on my back. I have an awesome electric massager, but it kind of sucks to use it on yourself when you want it for your back. blehh.
Digestion: Ok. I had really bad gas cramps after I finished my cardio session. Kind of deterred me from eating since I was in pain. It's probably because of the bread stuffs I had yesterday!
Energy: Woke up early, napped from 9am-11am, then I was antsy to get out of the house. My workout felt good, too!
My energy and mood greatly improved after my workout today. I don't really feel like talking about my feelings today, though, because having to recall the negative parts of the day just don't really help anything. Positive things, though ... I made my boyfriend an awesome dinner, and he said it was perfect! I also ran pretty fast today and felt pretty good about my fitness and health. And today at the grocery store, I got this cheese called "Grilling Cheese" or haloumi cheese, that's supposed to get crispy or whatever when you cook it. Yeah, the fat kid in me is excited about that. LOL! Tomorrow I'm hoping that it'll be bright and sunny, and I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the neighbor's roof is done being replaced so that I don't get woken up so early. Then if they're not creepin' on the roof, I might even lay out in the sun in the back yard! After getting back from lifting, of course ^__^ And now, I'm gonna bring back the QOTD! (I used to do them, but my journal was pretty vacant back then. Not trying to bite on your style, Mango! lol <3)
QOTD: Do you have any tattoos? If you do, what are they, and do you like them? Do you plan on getting any more?
I have 1 tattoo, myself. It's small, and it's on the back of my neck, behind my right ear. It's a tiny nautical star, just black and white. I got it on my 18th birthday. My sister has nautical stars on her chest (along with 13 other horrible tattoos, last time I checked) -- one on each side of her collarbone. I wanted something more discreet, and it is. I forget that it's there, and most people can know me for a long while before realizing that I have any tattoo at all! I don't think I'm going to get anymore, just because I change my mind so much and I'd be afraid to get tired of it, especially if it was somewhere I could see all the time.
