I really think it's as simple as being honest, and not clinging to a preconceived idea (positive or negative) of who you are, or "should" be. There's so much happening in our subconscious that we're not aware of, and the more we block it, the more difficulties we have in life. I really need to take my own advice and stop trying to decide who I am! Listening to your heart is enough, cheesy as that sounds.

, but we all want to believe that we matter, right? And it is for that reason that we are so hard on ourselves.
When I say I don't give a fuck, that's not entirely true. I care deeply and have an overwhelming amount of love for more people than I can count on my fingers and toes (including you guys if you believe it or not). But the things I have chosen to place importance on - my friends, my health - really have no significance to the universe. I have chosen to care about these things because they bring me personal fulfillment in some way. I used to care about other things (failure, how I was perceived by others, authority, etc.) but these things made me very unhappy, so I let them go. I think when you realize that nothing you do or care about really matters, you are then free to do and care about whatever it is you choose. I never had so many loved ones in my life until I didn't care about having any. I never did so well in school until I didn't care about my grades. I was never as outspoken as I am now until I realized that my opinions did not matter. I think my health will sky rocket the moment I don't give a fuck about it anymore, but for some reason I'm not ready. I'll figure it out eventually. And so will you.
I am going to be split hairs on one little thing - that none of it matters. I personally believe that the only purpose of life is to express life as completely as possible. So in one sense, our lives mean nothing, but in another sense, they mean everything, because there's nothing more than that.
And I totally agree about loving the people in this little MDA family I love how this little group has evolved. You're all so different, and so amazing in your own ways. We might not agree on everything, but I have nothing but respect and appreciation for you all.

"I think the basic anti-aging diet is also the best diet for prevention and treatment of diabetes, scleroderma, and the various "connective tissue diseases." This would emphasize high protein, low unsaturated fats, low iron, and high antioxidant consumption, with a moderate or low starch consumption.
In practice, this means that a major part of the diet should be milk, cheese, eggs, shellfish, fruits and coconut oil, with vitamin E and salt as the safest supplements."
