I was thinking about it but I might want to make a fancy dessert for my girlfriend on Valentine's day. I might just start on Friday and go until Easter (or beyond).

I'm in!
I'm pretty primal most of the the time. What would probably do me the best at leaning out some more is cutting out that glass or two of wine nearly every night.....but I like it.![]()
Would I be putting a grain-feed cow on a fad diet if I took it out of the feedlot and put it on pasture eating the grass nature intended?
All starts this Wednesday. I know it's the wrong mindset to have, but the Mrs. and I will be drinking more than usual tonight and tomorrow!
Count me in too! I've been primal for 14 months, lost 25lbs, . . . and gained 7 back since Thanksgiving. Not too bad for three months of "mostly being good," but not where I want to be. My problem is that little cheats really don't show up, so I'm not motivated to pass on things I know I shouldn't have. For example: cheesecake w/ graham cracker crust is better than a slice of cake. How stupid can I get?
I thought Lent was cancelled since the Pope quit his job.

Lent stems from the scriptures where it has been written for centuries that Jesus fasted and prayed in the mountains for 40 days.
Lent existed long before this Pope, long before any Pope.
Campanella, I'm pretty sure she was joking.
For those who are not Christian-ly inclined, what are the "requirements" to adhere to a Lenten diet? My parents are Orthodox Christian and do not follow it in the same way that Catholics do, from my understanding. My mom usually just limited us to fish, but I think the real deal is supposed to be full on vegan.
