Hey, I saw something today on the interwebz about 5-htp helping with fibro pain as it increases the body's production of serotonin (but is side effect free as an amino acid found in food (derivative of tryptophan)) and that it also helps with insomnia. Not sure if you have the insomnia part of fibro, but it might help with your pain. The one caveat though is that you cannot take it with antidepressants. May be something you'd be interested in looking into? Just thought I'd throw it out there.
I take anti depressants
I really want off of them however so maybe this is an option in the future. I am scared to change anything right now.

Tomi, do you take HRT? I had a hysterectomy just over 6 years ago and have been taking the HRT. I quit taking it in the fall but have started again to see if that will help w/ all the issues I have been having.
