Up a pound today...not exactly sure from what--didn't think yesterday was particularly high in sodium.
Today looks almost exactly like yesterday though I will probably have greek yogurt for dinner instead of the green shake.
Still up that pound. Woke up at 12:50 am this morning and couldn't get back to sleep--stomach was a bit upset. After about 90 minutes, I just got up and did a gentle walk at home DVD for about 40 minutes. Called in sick because I'm just exhausted.

8:45 am: 3 eggs, 1T HWC, mushrooms, 5 slices bacon scrambled in 1.5 T Kerrigold Garlic Herb butter
1:15 pm: ground beef with a little cream cheese for flavor

Feeling MUCH better than yesterday and also happened to get more sleep. I had a bad headache for much of the day yesterday and still have it a bit this morning, but not as bad. I ended up having broth+boullion with coconut oil and butter in it for dinner and that seemed to help a bit to, though it was quite salty because I misread the boullion instructions and put in a whole cube instead of half for 2 cups and I'm up another pound today, lol. Still it was tasty. And, I'm already losing some of that excess weight judging by the amount of times I've visited the ladies room.
Woke up very slightly hungry, so was going to have a couple slices of precooked bacon and a cup of coffee with HWC, but instead decided to try something different....not eating until I felt actual hunger, lol. So, I've been watching the UP day DOWN day discussion and decided to just jump in and take advantage of the not very hungry thing. I woke up at 5:00 a.m., but wasn't hungry so just waited. I had a cup of Starbucks with some half and half at around 8:30 and at 11:00 still wasn't very hungry. I was feeling a bit light-headed though, so am having some Greek full fat plain yogurt as I type this (11:20). But really, if I didn't have more errands to run, I might have seen just how long I could go until I felt real hunger.
I'm getting my taxes done today, so at least I'll be somewhat coherent for the appointment, lol.
Finally got hungry....4:00 pm. I'm having two cups of chicken broth with 1/2 cube of vegetable boullion with 1.5 T coconut oil, 1/3 T butter.
I bought two kinds of sardines today when I went grocery shopping...I've never had them before. I almost put some in my broth, but having never had them I was afraid, lol. So, meatless broth for now.
So today, day 1 of JUDDD is a down day.
My weight this morning was 177.6.
Total calories for the day 543.
Carbs 29 g
Fat 39 g
Prot 22 g
Tomorrow is my up day, yay.

Not surprisingly, I was down in weight this morning...1.4 pounds since yesterday, so I'm 176.2 this morning. I am also down a little in inches. 1/2" from my waist, 1" from my low hip and 1" from my high hip from the last time I measured at the end of last month. I don't have my other stats in front of me...I'll get them from work tomorrow.
As for yesterday, it went pretty well until the end of the day. I got a little hungry right before bed, but didn't have any calories left. I ended up breaking 1 square of Lindt 90% in half and having that.
I could NOT get to sleep to save my life. I was awake until well after midnight...maybe 1:00, but midnight was the last time I checked the time. I just could not quiet down, couldn't get comfortable and couldn't shut my mind off. The mind then started thinking on the one major thing yesterday with two odd occurrences. When my mind won't shut off, I tend to dwell on the weird stuff. My taxes. So, I was going to copy all of my paperwork before taking it to the tax place, but my copier wouldn't work. It printed one sheet (fortunately the most important) then left huge areas on the pages blank. Okay, I'll just go to my appointment without copying anything. Um, somehow, the girl who scheduled my appointment apparently forgot to enter it into the computer. They had no record of an appointment for me. Fortunately, they were VERY nice and squeezed me in, but that didn't stop my mind from fretting all night. I hate insomnia, lol.
Still, while I normally do not sleep well, the last couple of weeks have been much worse. So, I've decided to cut the caffeine. I only have one cup a day, but I think this week I'll switch to decaf, and if that doesn't help, then next week, I'll try with no coffee at all.
So, today is an up day, so I'll be eating normally. So far:
5:00 am: 5 slices thin cut bacon; 1 cup decaf coffee w/2T HWC; 2 chocolate chewable cal/mag tablets
8:00 am: 1 raw coconut macaroon
8:45 am: Decaf Americano w/HWC and a little sugar free vanilla
8:45-9:35 am: Walk to Starbucks then the Farmers' market where I scored some locally made almond butter, some locally made beef jerky with ingredients I recognize and some beef stock made by the jerky people which has been slow roasted (the bones) then simmered with yummy stuff. I know I can make my own, but the truth is I hate cooking and the likelihood of me actually doing it is so slim I won't even give odds
11:30 am: chicken liver; duck breast w/skin (3.5 oz each); 3 one bite potatoes (1 white, 1 red and 1 purple) with Kerrigold Garlic Herb butter
2:40 pm: green shake (1/2 avocado, small handful of baby spinach, 1/2 banana and 1 tea spoon coconut palm sugar)
4:45 pm: chicken livers sauteed with fresh mushrooms in 1T Kerrigold Garlic Herb Butter; 2 squares Lindt 90%
So, my first up day is complete. While it seemed like I was eating all day long, my calories only came to slightly over 1300 for the entire day. I was really afraid that I would binge after my down day, but while I felt slightly hungry most of the day, I never felt the urge to binge. In fact, I made 5 oz of chicken liver for dinner, but ended up not eating it all.

I was up .5 pounds today, which is not surprising to me, so that puts me at 176.8 this morning. It's a down day, so there won't be much eating, lol.

Well, I've made it through my first work down day. I've fasted only once before on a work day and that was for a fasting blood test. That didn't go well, and ever since then I've scheduled my blood tests for first thing in the morning, lol. This wasn't bad at all. I was very hungry earlier in the day, but 3 bites of potato and some tea got me over that. The beef stock/liver combo really seemed to hold me over even though it wasn't much. I'm only feeling slightly hungry now (3:41 pm), but I know once I get home, dinner will be very welcomed.
4:45 pm: 4.2 oz chicken liver and 1 cup fresh mushrooms sauteed in 1 T Kerrigold galic herb butter

I'm still up that half pound from yesterday, but that's okay. I haven't had a BM since Saturday, so I'm sure that has a little to do with it as well.

At work: approximately 2 cups of beef stock with 1/2 boullion cube and 1/2 T butter...will be sipping on this through the day; also brought 3 one-bite potatoes that I will have at some point
UPDATE at 12:00 pm: I am so excited, lol. I've not been hungry. I had the 3 bite sized potatoes at 9:00 am, and I'm having my broth now and I have not been very hungry. Monday was kind of miserable, but if all days were like today, I wouldn't have an overeating problem, lol.

Up day today, yay. I was down in weight this morning...almost caught up with my lowest a few days ago. I COULD NOT SLEEP again last night. Slept very well from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am, then nothing. I dozed off a couple of times from 3-4 am, but had weird dreams so not sure I can really count that as sleep, lol.

Slept MUCH better last night, finally. I'm also down in weight this morning...a new low since starting Primal, EMF and now JUDDD--176. It's coming off slowly, but a downward trend is all that matters to me at the moment. I'm not doing much in the way of exercise, so once I start that, things might speed up a bit.
Picked up my taxes last night and I'm thrilled that I owe HALF of what I thought I owed. Yay!!
Today is a down day, so not much food, lol:
4:40 am: 2 cal/mag chewables; Instant decaf coffee with 2T HWC on the way to work
7:15 am: 3 one-bite potatoes with salt
11:30 am: Organic low sodium chicken broth with 1/2 organic vegetarian boullion cube and 1 T organic coconut oil
5:00 pm: Fage full fat yogurt, fresh organic blueberries
Late evening snack because I was really hungry: 2 slices bacon w/1T cream cheese
That put me over my target calories for a down day, but I wanted to sleep well and I did, lol.
