Won't be posting again until Monday sometime...only two more "things" coming up then hopefully my life will be my own again, lol.

Finally back. I am going to spend the next couple of days getting back on track...I've been eating lots of carbs and my cravings are telling me it's too much, so I'm going to concentrate on higher fat/lower carbs to get that back under control. I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday for which I will need to fast, so I'm just going to use that day to jump back in to alternate day fasting or a 5:2 type of fast.
Today so far:
5:15 am: 2 cal/mag chewables, 1 commuter mug of brewed decaf coffee with 2T org. HWC
6:30 am: 3 oz polska kielbasa; 1 cup decaf w/1 shot of expresso (at work) with 3 of those little tubs of Half & Half
11:30 am: 4.5 oz 85% grass fed ground beef w/1 slice of org. cheddar cheese; 1 cup of broccoli w/1T butter; 2 squares of a Lindt 90% cocoa bar
5:00 pm: fried liverwurst (don't ask--every time I eat liverwurst I think, I bet this would be good fried...so I tried it in a little garlic butter--it WAS good by-the-way); 3 mini coco-roons
Will also try to do some form of exercise when I get home...gotta get back on track with that too. EDIT: ended up walking the neighborhood for my first attempt at on-track.

Today will probably look similar to yesterday, but forgot to bring my broccoli to work and ran out of kielbasa, lol.
6:00 am: Iced coffee with HWC and sugar free syrup (liquid splenda)
7:30 am: 4 oz boneless/skinless chicken thigh; 1 square Lindt 90% and two tiny squares of Green & Black's 85%
11:15 am: 4.5 oz grass fed ground beef, 1 slice org. mild cheddar cheese
5:00 pm: 7 oz container Fage full fat yogurt with frozen organic cherries
Exercise: 7 minutes on the elliptical at work; 20 minutes strength work

Today is my annual wellness exam which will include bloodwork. I'm fasting for the testing so I'll just make this a down day and try to go as long as possible without eating. I'm still hungrier than normal and so haven't reached that appetite suppression I had hoped for but since I CAN'T eat for most of the morning, it's a good day to jump back in.
My doctor will be aghast at how much weight I've gained since the last time I saw her (last year)...not sure if I should tell her I've ALREADY lost 10-12 pounds, lol. But, I've made a lot of positive changes since the beginning of this year and I think she'll be pleased with that. I've also decided to cut back on my computer time, but quitting a Facebook game I was playing...this will give me TONS more time to do something active, lol. That may be as simple as cleaning the house, but it may also be some real activity.
The exam went well, and far from being aghast, my doctor was pleased that I had lost a nice part of the weight I gained last year. I'll probably get results in a day or two.
12:21 pm and haven't eaten yet...just lots of water.

For some reason I am craving (mildly) junk food, lol. I'm not really sure what that's all about, but my grocery cart looked pretty strange today. I tried to make them healthier choices, but it's all junk nonetheless.
6:00 am: iced coffee w/HWC; Pamela's Everywhere Bar-Coconut/chocolate chip
12:00 pm: 8 oz flat iron steak, fresh mushrooms sauteed in Kerrygold garlic herb butter; fresh organic strawberries; a few BBQ Pop chips (really been craving something like chips); 1 square lindt 85% and 1 90%
6:00 pm: homemade "protein" shake

Slept great for about 5 hours then woke up at 2 a.m. and couldn't go back to sleep. Got up around 3:40, played a few games on the computer, straightened up the livingroom a bit, cooked all my lunches for the week and now just waiting for the Farmer's Market to open up so I can take my walk.
4:00 am: 1 container Coco Cafe Latte; 1/2 gluten free pretzel which wasn't much like a pretzel so threw the other half away and had a raw coconut macaroon instead.
8:50 am: Grande Caramel Ribbon Crunch Frappacino (I know)
12:30 pm: Flat Iron Steak; 1/2 avocado
4:40 pm: Fage full fat greek yogurt w/fresh organic strawberries & frozen organic blueberries w/1 T palm date sugar

Huh, I guess I didn't post yesterday...could have sworn I did, lol.
Anyway...I've really gotten off track with my eating since my vacations. I did really well right after I got back from the second one, but then the sugar cravings started back up again and stupid me, but I fed them and now they're worse. So for the rest of this week I'm going to try to keep the carbs, especially simple sugars, down and focus mainly on fats and to a lesser extent, proteins and veggies.
4:00 am: 2 cal/mag chewables (may cut these out for the rest of the week as my latest blood tests show good levels of calcium and these have sugar in them); 1 raw coconut macaroon
7:00 am: iced coffee with HWC; 4 oz (cooked) chicken thigh (boneless/skinless)
[TC]: 4 oz (cooked) 85% grass fed ground beef; 1/2 small Haas avocado; 1 cup broccoli w/ 1 pat butter
[TC]: dinner is undecided...I have an eye exam after work, so it will probably be something quick and weird, but higher in fat and lower in carbs/protein

Today will be much like yesterday...today's appointment after work is for a mammogram. My dinner yesterday ended up being bacon and cheese. Today it will probably be full fat greek yogurt with some low sugar fruit.
