    Today is the most normal I've felt in over a week. I had one BM earlier, but wasn't hungry so have just eaten. I had a skinny soy caramel macchiato from Starbuck's while I walked the neighborhood and just now 1 raw coconut macaroon. I am sort of leaning towards my usual morning cal/mag supplements + raw coconut macaroon combo as possibly the main culprit in the ongoing big D problem, so we'll see. I took the cal/mag and a coconut macaroon yesterday, but this morning skipped the supplement. Tomorrow I'll skip both since I'll be travelling and don't want to take any chances. They will NOT let me on the ship if I've had D within 3 days.

    Well, did have to go twice after I posted the above, but at least it wasn't liquid! Once I get home, I will definitely go see my doctor.

    10:45 am: Just had some steamed white rice and some chicken. Hoping that sits well.

    7:09 pm: everything else sat well...have high hopes for tomorrow!

    Well, woke up at 2:00 am with abdominal cramping. It woke me up! Grrrr This was more like the IBS cramping I get from time to time, so I'm not particularly worried about it, but it's never woken me up before. That was just weird. I've already got an appointment with my doctor in a couple of weeks. I'm trying to wait for that, but also may make an appointment sooner just for this issue.

    I changed my mind and had something to eat once I got up. I had some Fage Greek 0% Yogurt and 2 coconut macaroons. I've been to the bathroom 3 times this morning....but again, it seems more like the IBS thing than what I was having last week. I just want to get through the airport security, lol. Once through that, I can relax and I think things will be fine. Famous last words.

    Back from vacation. I had a great time and my digestive system behaved for the most part. I had some pain after eating a couple of times. It's hard to know exactly what is in stuff at a buffet without asking someone to detail each item, so I usually try to pick the safest looking stuff, but even with that sometimes I get something wrong. I didn't even try to do ADF, and didn't make primal very often either, but I DID try to eat only when hungry and only enough to be satisfied, though I do think I ate more than satisfied some of the time. They had gluten free foods/desserts and I partook of some of them.

    Yesterday was the worst for my digestive system and so I'm leaning towards stress being a contributor to whatever else is going on there. Yesterday was the most stressful day. Travel always tends to make me antsy and that sets off my "nerves" a bit, but it was worse yesterday because we had a very early flight and getting from the ship to the airport was taking a lot longer than expected. It all worked out and I'm home, but I swear I had to "go" 10 times--no exaggeration! Can't even believe there was that much in there, lol.

    So, after all that, I'm not all that hungry today, so decided to jump right back into ADF with a down day.

    6:30 am: 1 slice of organic roast beef with a thin smear of mayo and mustard

    9:15 am to 9:40 am: walk the neighborhood

    10:45 am: 1 slice of organic roast beef with thin smear of mayo and mustard

    12:30 pm: 3 slices of organic roast beef with thin smear of mayo/mustard

    3:20 pm: 7 oz container of Fage FF Greek Yogurt plus 3 drops of liquid stevia

    5:25 pm: 5 slices thin cut nitrate/nitrite free bacon

    Yay, 2 of the 3 pounds gained from my short vacation are already gone. Water weight, gotta love it, gotta hate it, lol. Most happy it is gone. Today is my last PTO day from work, so I'm going to enjoy as much of it as I can by just relaxing. I need to do a lot of stuff, but relaxing is winning out. I'm going to have to do a little bulk cooking, but once that's done I can relax and won't have to cook the rest of the week.

    Yesterday's down day went very well. I was surprisingly not hungry after my indulgent three day cruise. Today is an up day and I'm still not that hungry, but am starting to get a little so now... so I'm doing one of my bulk cooks and will have a little when it's done.

    6:00 am: Coffee with HWC, 1 coconut macaroon

    9:30 am: 4 oz boneless/skinless chicken thigh sauteed in coconut oil; dark chocolate rocky road

    1:30 pm: 5.5 oz grass fed stew meat w/ sauteed mushrooms

    5:00 pm: 2 oz ground beef w/1 oz cheddar cheese; frozen banana with Green & Black 85% cacao pieces melted with a little heavy cream and 1 drop of stevia liquid

    Today is my first day back to work, and it's a down day.

    I'm feeling slightly hungry at 7:45 so am having a cup of tea...I'm hoping to hold off as long as possible before eating anything.

    7:45 am: Republic of Tea Red Tea and Vanilla w/a little half & half (I mean a little)

    10:45 am: 4.5 oz 85% ground beef with 1/2 oz slice of cheddar cheese

    4:40 pm: 1 container Fage FF Greek Yogurt; with a few organic strawberries and blueberries

    Yay, lost that last vacation pound so am back down to where I was before I left. Today is an up day.

    4:30 am: 1 coconut macaroon, 2 cal/mag chewables

    6:00 am: Iced decaf coffee with 2 T HWC and sugar free syrup

    7:08 am: 3 oz polska kielbasa w/ 1 packet mayo

    11:40 am: 4.5 oz ground organic GF beef; 1 cup organic broccoli; butter; 1/2 cup of long grain white rice

    [TC]: undecided...probably a mish-mash of stuff which is higher in fat

    Dinner last night ended up being a homemade protein shake with coconut milk, almond milk, egg white protein powder, frozen banana and frozen organic peaches, with a little bit of slivered almonds thrown in.

    Today is a down day:

    4:45 am: Brewed coffee with 2T cream (large commuter cup)

    7:15 am: 3 slices of Wellshire Farms uncured corned beef, with 1/4 baby dill pickle, mustard and very thin smear of mayo

    11:40 am: 6 slices of Wellshire Farms uncured corned beef, with 1/4 baby dill pickle, mustard and very thin smear of mayo

    [TC]: Fage FF greek yogurt w/ frozen peaches

    Bah, feeling very bah today, lol. My down day yesterday turned into a little more than I thought it would, but still only around 700 calories. I added 3 squares of Lindt 90% dark chocolate and that's what threw me way over.

    Today is an up day and the bahness of my mood is really making it a free-for-all already. I'll try to be "better" the rest of the day, but it's already a struggle.

    4:45 am: 1 coconut macaroon, 1 cal/mag chewable. 1 commuter mug of decaf coffee with 2T HWC

    7:00 am: 3 oz polska kielbasa with a little mayo; 1/2 cup hot chocolate

    12:15 pm: 6 oz boneless/skinless chicken thigh meat; broccoli with butter; tea w/honey

    1:00 pm: 1 Dove dark chocolate/mint swirl
    [TC]: dinner...undecided...the bahness of the day is just too strong at this point to figure it out
