usually what i have is low fat vanilla or strawberry yogurt with a frozen banana, blue berries, raspberries and strawberries. i was thinking about trying something new, so if anyone has any recipes they like to make, it would be appreciated if you shared them

I'm a big fan of coconut milk, two raw eggs, and a handful of frozen fruit

Good ingredients for smoothies that you can consider integrating into yours:

    Cocoa powder
Various nut butters (I like macadamia and almond the best)
Kefir (use as base instead of milk or yogurt just for a change)
Coconut milk (as a milk replacement or just for an interesting flavor profile)
Coconut oil (increases fat content and can turn a smoothie into a literal meal if you're in a rush and want to get something in you on the run)
Ground coffee beans or fresh tea leaves (add some great antioxidants and get your caffeine hit for that AM smoothie)
Brewed tea (brew your tea and add it that way, just decrease other liquids proportionally)
Nutmeg, allspice, cloves, and ginger (really, any spices you like, but these four are awesome to add into frothy, creamy fruit-filled goodness)

I hope that gives you a few ideas on how to keep smoothies interesting and varied.

Just thought of a pina colada smoothie if you're open to frankenfood-- frozen banana, fresh pineapple, vanilla protein powder, coconut cream/milk, unsweetened almond milk (or your choice of thin liquid). Combine in blender & obliterate.

I found these, too, as I was poking around for banana smoothie ideas for my breakfast:

And re: raw eggs-- what do you think egg nog is made from?
