    Is Popcorn Primal

    Primal Fuel
Seems simple enough. Unpopped has plenty of carbs. But who eats unpopped popcorn? Popped as next to nothing. Whats the deal? Mark says no to corn..... but what do we think about popcorn? Ready, go

Mark says no to corn. That's basically it, because corn is modified crop, unnatural and all that.

I don't consider it primal, but I eat it on occasion because I love it. I count it in my 20%.

It would very dangerous for me if Mark were to give his "stamp of approval" when it comes to popcorn. I occasionally eat it, my hubby eats it every night (in bed) and I have a very hard time resisting, but I do, most of the time. Once I get started eating it, I can't stop!!!

I don't care what Mark says. I like it, so I eat it... With lots of coconut oil or butter, usually CO with nutritional yeast and lots of pink himalayan salt.

I choose not to eat corn (although I love corn on the cob). As an aside, more teeth are cracked on clamping down on 'unpopped kernels'. /lu

The Indians weren't eating the genetically modified crap that can't not be found anywhere now, either.

As above, count it as your 20%...I do the same with buttered corn on the cob come summertime

That's EXACTLY how I eat mine! I buy organic and air-pop it. Used to eat it all the time but now maybe once every couple weeks. My autistic son would eat it every night if I let him. 'Nuf said.

If you're going to indulge, organic is better (almost all corn is GMO otherwise), and pop your own in good fat (coconut, butter/EVOO). NEVER use the store-bought microwave stuff, the junk they put in there is dreadful.
