Welcome! We are here, but just not as chatty as we used to be. I am still following this program pretty faithfully. I eat 50-60g protein, about 20g carb and 75% fat. The fat grams change based on calories. I eat 1200-1400 on average.

So here's a question and I can't seem to figure it out. I'm using myfitnesspal to track my macros until I get the hang of this better. It has a column for carbs, sugar and fiber. Now I know the fiber doesn't count, but why does it have two separate columns for carbs and sugar? Is the carbs column considered starch? Are they supposed to be combined, or do I only go by what the carbs column says for my total carbs for the day?
And still never got my original question answered about myfitnesspal.
So then I think I would be eating 159g of fat???
All this pounds to kilos stuff is confusing me, lol!!!!
MFPYou can change what columns you want to see in the settings tab. Click on diary settings.
Goal Weight Most of us choose a low weight in the healthy range for our height. I'm 5'10" I would like to be below 175. I choose to use 160 for macro calculations.
Divide pound goal by 2.2 to get kilos. Most of us start with Protein equals Kilo goal, Carbs 1/2 kilo goal, Fat 2x kilo goal. For you, 140lbs=64kilos 64g protein +/-10% (58-70g range), 32 g carb max, 128g fat to start.
