Not that I was a drunkard., the hubs and I just liked to have our fun cocktail hour, and there
was no leaving the house after THAT nonsense.
But seriously, leaving the house after five to go to ANY store was like, WHOA.
I didn't know what to do with myself either. Store, movie, long walk in the dark.. Wow.
Okay so I just made a ridiculously crazy ice cream, it will most likely throw off your ratios (as it did mine) but it can definitely be adapted I would think.
The recipe came from PaleOMG – Paleo Recipes – Chocolate “Peanut Butter” Ice Cream with Chocolate Shell
Here is the rough break down:
The recipe for the chocolate shell can definitely be reduced in half, in my opinion it made too much. You could probably do a vanilla flavor (which obviously will change your fat/carb count) and my suspicion on the shell is that what makes it harden is the coconut oil so you probably could omit the nut butter and still have it turn out.
For those of you that are familiar with the dove ice creams that have the ganache layer, it is EXACTLY like that. Insanity
