I was actually taking the wee possum skin as a wee gift, so not sure if will make it through customs or not. It is beautifully cured............................. and I haven't quite gotten round to packing the other bits 'n' bobs that will accompany me on my trip.

you may want to check with customs on that..... it may not be "importable".... You may want to call the US Consulate and ask them. I expect that they should know...

I did the boiled eggs thing on my last trip back to the uk. The aroma when opening the Tupperware in the enclosed confines was not to the liking of some :-D

Meh, they all sit there farting in their sleep anyway :-)

I packed boiled eggs and jerky on the way back too, just left the eggs for the airport during transit instead.

To be honest though, we usually fly air Malaysia and there's normally a pretty primal option for each meal (meat curry on rice, or meat and veggies for dinner, curry or omelette and fruit for brekkie). Or just treat it the flight as IF ;-)

I am thinking that IF ing would be the way to go - however I would like to have some food with me - just in case I get hungry.

    .................. 3 more sleeps................

I actually thought that I had been achieving all those last minute things over the last 4 weeks - however ................ I still have a list - as long as my arm...............
