Wink Ultimate fast food dilemma which would you choose?! :) Fish V Chips

    Shop Now
Fish and chips (fries) is one of the most popular fast food takeaways in the UK. So you're out with friends and decide to add something to your 20% to be social, but you don't wanna go overboard.

    Which is worse:

The fish - whilst fish is primal, this is cheap, mass produced, god knows where its been fish, deep fried in horrific oils and covered with loads of wheat filled batter.

    Or

The Chips - still deep fried it crap, and non primal raising your blood sugar but it is still a simple, easily digested vegetable with no wheat batter.

Which would you choose if I pointed a gun at your head?!

The idea of a gun to my head kind of destroys the "out with friends" and "social" aspect of the question. I would truly choke on either the fish or the chips, but I suppose I'd choose the fish and scrape off the batter if you weren't paying attention to me any longer.

Least bad - pick the fish out of the batter, claiming sogginess if questioned

Scrape the batter off the fish, claiming grease issues (trans fats are the worst offenders.)

Get the chips (fries) and distract friends with witty conversation while simultaneously offering them some of your fries.. That way you don't have to eat it all and people usually don't turn down fries.

An IF. I'm allergic to wheat and the blood sugar spike from the potatoes might put me in the hospital. That's not a choice I can answer.
Primal eating in a nutshell: If you are hungry, eat Primal food until you are satisfied (not stuffed). Then stop. Wait until you're hungry again. Repeat.

    Ideally: IF.

In the presence of firearms, the fish with the batter removed.
