I've lost about 115 lbs over the last 2 years eating "primally" and avoiding carbs. I have about 10 lbs to reach my goal and I plan to kick start the loss with the potato diet. Last time I lost 8.2 lbs in a week. I'm also very interested in a suggested plan of eating breakfast and lunch - potatoes only and eating a normal primall dinner. Naturally, that makes me quite nervous, but, with all I've read about resistant starch and saw how the potato diet worked, I want to give it a try. Does this sound reasonable or risky? Also, after I've reached my goal weight I want to add some carbs in the form of resistant starches. Are spaghetti squash, peas and carrots resistant starches? Is there some kind of a list to give me an idea of what I can add. I just dread gaining weight again.
