    Frankenfoods Thread

I think its time for a dedicated thread for all those frankenfoodsthat make you curse out loud in the middle of the supermarket.

To start, I found this beauty last night.

Its the model and the weights that really do it for me.

I own four pre-apocalypse twinkies. Jump up and down about it!
Steak, eggs, potatoes - fruits, nuts, berries and forage. Coconut milk and potent herbs and spices. Tea instead of coffee now and teeny amounts of kelp daily. Let's see how this does! Not really had dairy much, and gut seems better for it.

One section of the frozen food aisle at WFoods, but especially anything called a veggie burger. Mind you, I have nothing against veggie patties, and I've tasted some home-made ones that were yummie. But just like not all drinks served in a martini glass should end in "ini," burgers have beef as their major component. Anything else is a patty.

Tofu "meats." Pepperoni (gag), tofurkey, tofu hot dogs. Definitely high on the barf-meter.

Lean Cuisine, WW Smart Ones, etc. Even before primal, I'd look at those and think I could make a meal with just as few calories and by skipping the pasta and rice invariably included, get a lot more protein for my caloric buck.

Fruit juices. The grocery store variety. Again, even before primal, I knew that the added sugar had taken a perfectly healthy snack, like an orange, and turned it into a sugary mess.

Who says back fat is a bad thing? Maybe on a hairy guy at the beach, but not on a crab.

Don't worry, they never taste like bacon. They taste like oily salt.

I am adding various yogurts to the frankenfood category. Reading ingredients is scary.

    Cheetos

    Skim Plus milk. Gag.
