That's funny,Owly! It WAS awesome, or as Ray Liotta said in Goodfellas "It was a glorious time". But most of us didn't get it then.

One thing I vividly remember about my old man and his pals is that they ate PRIMALY for the most part. Lotsa grilled meat, greens & tropical fruit, pheasant, suckling pig, entrails, etc... and a few primal sins: tortillas, tequila, Coronas. Therefore, sticking to the PB is relatively easy for me since carbs and grains were always the exception to the rule. And as an aside, I rarely remember seeing outrageously FAT people on our block or just in general.
