My cousin just posted on fb : my new favorite snack, strawberry cream pie from. Mcdonalds and a diet coke.
* crickets* really???? I'm not even going to try...
Fried of mine had a picture of his breakfast in Facebook today, steak pieces and mega bits of bacon.
Someone posted that it was a heart attack on a plate, my friend agreed.
They walk among us.
Do what you love and do it often. If you don't like something, change it. if you don't like your job, quit. If you don't have enough time, stop watching tv. If you are looking for the love of your life, stop, they will be waiting for you when you start doing the things you love. Stop over analyzing, life is simple. When you eat, appreciate every last bite. Some opportunities only come once, seize them.

I have a junk food vegetarian friend. Me and her both used to be overweight. I lost about 45 pounds eating primally... she lost about 10 being a vegetarian, and doing P90X every singe day for the past 3 months. While I commend her on sticking with a workout, and supposedly a good one too, she just won't listen to me. So I stopped trying, and all was well between us.
As usual, vegetarians can only hide their nonsense for so long, she started looking down on me and has this air of superiority about her. Like she's better than me because she doesn't eat meat, she just bakes cookies and candy and deserts 4x a week.
I thought that me actually losing weight right before their very eyes would be enough proof that this works. One day they'll learn...

^^ what is even more amusing is that she comments how good she felt cutting out bread but then does an about face saying you need it. She is another one of those who confuses carbs with grains etc....sigh.
Eating primal is not a diet, it is a way of life.

Don't forget to play!
OMG...is she overly CW'd or what?
All of the talk of "severe health issues" ahead if you don't have them good ol' healthy grains (including constipation and bad breath) just cracked me up even as I cried for the again-misinformed.
Sustainability is such a huge buzzword in the news these days...for everything except "diets". Everyone expects a diet to be a temporary thing, anymore! Even my own son refuses to accept "never" in answer to his question "when are we gonna quit this diet?"
Been going strong for 9 months now -- heard stories from folks that are YEARS into Paleo/Primal -- not sustainable, my sweet bippy!
Started 7/5/11 at 274 lbs
Now 214 -- that's 60 lbs!
Goal 160 lbs -- last time there was in junior high!

Still, it's not the company's fault when you partake in such promotions. As delicious and poisonous as they may be...
