I take a good 2 hours for grooming too, but then I only do it every 2 or 3 days.
In all of the universe there is only one person with your exact charateristics. Just like there is only one person with everybody else's characteristics. Effectively, your uniqueness makes you pretty average.

    yeah you are

I mean there's so many ants in my eyes! And there are so many TVs, microwaves, radios... I think, I can't, I'm not 100% sure what we have here in stock.. I don't know because I can't see anything! Our prices, I hope, aren't too low!

I HAVE my chocolate without messing up my day. Its a square of 80% dark. And its right after a lunch of steak and brussel sprouts. And before I lift some weights.

Told him anyway. Said it was bologna.

I'm now itching to eat on a SAD cruise until I was full every day and lose weight doing PB stuffs.
To be fair, I just took my annual week long trip to an all-inclusive (food and alcohol) resort in Mexico. This is my first year going Primal and I've been very successful, but I decided that for my vacation I was going to eat and drink whatever I wanted. With all the food choices I could have stayed Primal but what's the fun in that when you're on vacation? So I ate pasta, ice cream, maple syrup and bread every day. And of course had lots of sweet drinks. Exercise? Ha! Only if you count a leisurely swim in the ocean or across the pool to get another drink. By the end I think I gained all of two pounds, which were gone less than a week after we got back.

This baffled me. Before going Primal I used to gain at least 5-8 pounds on my Mexico trips and it didn't come off easily. I had to pack two sizes of shorts because the smaller ones wouldn't fit me by the end of 7 days of pigging out. This year, I noticed a little extra bloat in my abdomen, but the teeny shorts I brought still fit fine on the last day. My only explanation is that before I was metabolically damaged, so the majority of the carbs I ate went to fat storage. Now they go toward energy instead. This year I did have plenty of energy all day - no naps required.

They obviously know they are wrong, and feel compelled to apologize to somebody for what they are doing to themselves. You just happen to be there.

Somehow, a processed meal from weight watchers is healthier than local farm grown stuff.

It says health food right on the cover.

A (single-and-wants-to-stay-so) co-worker of mine recently moved and was lamenting about how her new place has no food or staples in it and said "I wish someone would just make me out a grocery list, then go shopping for me because I always seem to get stuck on the same old easy-fix things".
I tried to direct her to the PB shopping list(s) because she is trying -- a little bit -- to mend her SAD ways. I even told her I'd go shopping with her and help read labels... "oh no, I couldn't do that! I'd end up buying all kinds of things I that'll just go bad 'cause I can't take the time to fix them".

This is the lady who asked to shift her starting time from 8am to 9am just so she could have one more hour for her morning ablutions (which include only coffee and a toaster waffle, time for bible reading and prayer, and 2.5 hours for showering then primping hair, makeup and clothes) and comes in 10 - 15 minutes late even then!! It only takes a couple more minutes to fry a couple of eggs and bacon can (gasp) be cooked in the nuker. Bring along some of those fresh veggies or even a squash and we'll steamer-bag cook it here! Learn to use a crock pot to cook big batches and your freezer to preserve individual portions!!

.....and it's time for Catty to practice what she's preachin'!!
For a chronically late employee you don't set the start time later, you set it earlier. If they are usually 15 minutes late make their start time 15 minutes earlier. They will still be 15 minutes late but, NOW they will actually be on time.

    THANK you!

I had the same discussion with The Boyfriend last week. One of his coworkers was supposed to start work at 9am and constantly got there around 9:15. So the boss changed her start time to 9:15. NO! You change her start time to 8:30 and then she'll be early for 9am!

If it'd been my call, I would have!!! But she convinced the boss that it would be a really good idea to have someone in Med Records until 6:00 pm just in case one of the late working MA's needed something. As said before, there's a whole lot more wrong with her than not being willing to give PB even a week's trial...........
Maybe now that we're on Electronic Medical Records, I can convince the boss that we NEED her there earlier, especially since she's the only other one of us 4 (3 and a part timer, really) that has "experience" with M.R.
    Started 7/5/11 at 274 lbs
    Now 214 -- that's 60 lbs!
Goal 160 lbs -- last time there was in junior high!
