    Herbs.
Heavy, good quality, 8in chiefs knife.

    Spices... small electric coffee grinder.
Or quality hand coffee mill... but never use it for coffee after using it for spices.
Our body is our subconscious mind, and anybody who thinks that their conscious mind is running the show is seriously mistaken. In fact the conscious mind just may be the most narcissistic entity in the universe, it thinks it's running the show. It's not.

And that's why I'm here eating HFLC Primal/Paleo.

For herbs, I find a mezzaluna to work very well

Typhoon Double Herb Chopper/ Hachoir/ Mezzaluna Set: Amazon.co.uk: Kitchen & Home

And for spices, I have an attachment for my Kenwood Chef which is brilliant

    Kenwood UK | Compact Chopper / Grinder AT320A | Chef & Major

A small electric coffee grinder would work well too
