    i would say i use protein as my base but i just mean i ick meat and work around it.... if i have chicken im adding lotsa buter/ghee, if im having ribeye i am using its fat for cooking a sauce, fatty ground beef il saute some veggies in its fat... so whatever mea i have i pick veggies to go with it but met being "protein" is always my base
