World-traveling wildlife vet. Still have that goal in mind, though the achievable, living-wage-earning reality will probably be more along the lines of overly educated zoonotic disease researcher who spends a modicum of time in the field. And not nearly enough time staging midnight lion captures or darting elephants from a helicopter

Now that I think more about it, the more I love my job - banking in tech. I'll probably receive a lot of hating, but I really do enjoy watching monetary resources allocated to companies I see fit. And those companies continue to improve the standard of life for people as a whole, which is what I love about technology. Also, I'm a mathematician at heart, so it's fun watching other bankers bust out their calculators while I solve stuff way faster in my head.

I've already answered before: I'm doing it!

I teach yoga, run a holistic health center. It rocks.

I just did a day of continuing education, and look forward to that continuing on as well (I did level 1 postural pattern training).

    yeah you are

I mean there's so many ants in my eyes! And there are so many TVs, microwaves, radios... I think, I can't, I'm not 100% sure what we have here in stock.. I don't know because I can't see anything! Our prices, I hope, aren't too low!

    No hating allowed here!

You are just like my best friend... who races the computerized cash register in shops to calculate the bill. Tax included...

No hate from me. We need people who like running banks to just have an awesome time running kick-ass banks. Then the rest of us who would fucking hate that job can do stuff we think is fun. That's the nice thing about having so many damn people on the planet; there's somebody who would really love to do almost anything you can think of.

For me, I would be an essayist/short fiction writer (so maybe a blogger, in today's world?), as well as a freelance inventor and ukulelist. I might also like to build handmade ukuleles--I plan to get some books on it and maybe take a seminar soon, to see if I enjoy it as a hobby. I love designing and building things with my hands and I also love the ukulele, so who knows?

Also, I would probably read books and articles and then engage in written debate about them. Which is one of my hobbies now, actually.
Today I will: Eat food, not poison. Plan for success, not settle for failure. Live my real life, not a virtual one. Move and grow, not sit and die.

Ummm... I don't think I could pick just one. I'm still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up, much less pick an ideal vocation. I really enjoy hopping back and forth between the military and civilian life (as a Reservist that sometimes goes on active duty). I enjoy teaching and training, but not when people don't want to learn. I'm not a terrible electronics tech, but those jobs are for the money, not because I particularly like it.

If I could contribute in a money-earning way to the farm I would think about moving there- tanning the sheepskins and making mittens, learning how to graft trees so I could start a small orchard, etc- however I'd probably get burned out in a couple of years and would want to have the money to go somewhere else for a while.

I guess if I'm not completely bored and the people don't totally suck, I'll be okay. I am not my job.

lmao! Definitely did that one. Usually win

Also, as another anecdote, while I was at jury duty, we weren't allowed to even bring in books....I passed the 4 hours by prime factoring the time each minute went by. If I went too fast past the current hour and minute, I'd do the hour-minute-seconds too...

I have this dream of owning and running a farm. Although, I'll be the first to admit that I probably have a very naive idea of what that would be like.
My other dream is being an engineer because I love practical solutions and mathematics, and I'm already doing it.

Lots of travelling on this thread. I don't know, I used to think I'd love to travel, but having been forced to relocate 5 times in the last 7 years, I kind of just want to find a lovely location, have a small house with a garden and maybe not go anywhere for the next 60 years.
Ooooh, if that place could be a farm, and I could implement all kinds of engineering solutions to the place, THAT would be my dream!
