Coffee creamer recipe? page

I need a good coffee creamer recipe! I've finally gotten my dad partially on board with primal, but he still drinks soda (with real sugar, not that it's much better) and coffee with french vanilla coffee mate creamer. -_- I just can't get him to drink water... but I digress.

We do dairy, he doesn't like the taste of coconut, and he's picky as hell... it's almost as if he's the kid and not me.
Help!

I've never made my own coffee creamer, but if I had to take a shot at how to do it, I might try heavy whipping cream (or half and half) with some vanilla extract in it. (I don't know if the extract is miscible with cream or not.)

I just use heavy cream and a few Vanilla Creme flavored stevia drops. Sweet Drops

Has he ever tried Zevia sodas? My husband's biggest hump was quitting sodas, and those helped. I like them too, but I wasn't a big soda drinker to start wtih. The cherry cola is great though, I used to love Cherry Coke when I was a kid.

If you do dairy, why not just use heavy cream??

I just skim the cream off the top of our raw milk. Yum.

Thanks for the ideas everybody, I've tried heavy cream and sugar with him but he didn't like it as much... I'm going to try adding some vanilla extract to the cream and having him use the vanilla stevia. I think its the vanilla he's after...

I switched to zevia from coke zero before I quit soda, he's only tried one flavor but he didn't like it... I think it was the lemon lime. I'll try to get him to try the cola!

I use heavy cream and local honey. And I brew my coffee with cinnamon mixed into the grounds. You can also try mixing cardamom or nutmeg into the ground for some variety.

I have found with using butter instead of creamer I actually put in about 1/2 the sugar I used to. I found at first I would just put in a small bit, but now I am putting in a big scoop, and I skip breakfast. You might want to give that a try as a replacement to the creamer.
