Perfect health diet to help constipation
I was just browsing through the Perfect Health Diet thread and saw that one person commented on not having to rely on magnesium anymore to relieve constipation when switching to PHD. Does anyone else have experience with this? I have been using magnesium for years and low carb tends to make it worse, wondering if I need to add in more starches?
Starches = more bacteria = more poo = more frequently needing to go poo
Low carb = less feeding of bacteria = less bacteria = less poo = less frequently needing to go poo
Poo is more than 60% bacteria. If your eating low carb you may not be constipated. It's totally normal to go less.
VeggieLover's been complaining of constipation for pretty much forever, dude. If you physically feel the urge to crap and you are unable to crap, it's constipation.
Ahhh, I see. Don't know her/his history.
