Seeking momentary happiness from food sounds like a symptom of a much deeper problem. I dealt with this for many years, and I, too, attempted to recreate the dopamine high of a crap-food binge with 'healthy' foods. Perhaps instead of trying to duplicate this fleeting bliss with other foods, you might want to focus on some non-food related ways to feel happier.

The effect of tramadol is very subtle, and it is probably not for everybody either. The powdered tramadol capsules did nothing for me at all, but I have a very good effect of the tablets - "extended release" - and I use to take it on an empty stomach around 11 AM and I feel the effect also for the day after. One tablet is all that I need to get a blissful feeling, blunt hunger and it sure gives more energy in everything I do. Best drug I have ever tried, but I use to cycle it, so I do not use it every week though...

Either your getting a little too freaky with the gym equipment or not freaky enough in the sack
