For me I had to up the fat and cut back the protein. From years of trying to eat low fat I have to admit that I was a bit brain-washed and I was choosing lost of lean meats and egg whites in place of extra whole eggs. Since upping the fat the pounds have started to melt off.

Hello - I am having a similar experience as yours. I lost 8 pounds quickly and 4 weeks later have only yo-yoed with 2 pounds. I have not found the secret if there is one, but I am committed to 6 months of this plan and I will recess at that time.
I gave up coffee, sugar, grains....living the PB way and exercising as perscribed. Not sure why I am not losing more.
Your husband is right, IMO. 3 weeks is nothing. Give it time.
Measure yourself other ways. How do you FEEL? Is your energy increasing? Is your skin clear? Are you sleeping enough? Have you lost half an inch anywhere?
What is your alternative to what your doing? Trust in it..It will work. This isn't a "diet" its a lifestyle. Its not just about weight loss, its about healthy living. Even if you never lose another pound the rest of your life ( you will) you will still be better off health wise.
Be patient and keep at it..for ever.

whenever I'm on a plateau I go on a 95% fat diet for 3 or 4 days, I eat beaten cream with a few nuts, evco by the spoonful, eggs with lots of butter and so on... kick starts my fat burning/ketosis
