Due to childcare restraints, weather, and an unsafe environment, I am forced to walk/run on the treadmill for now. I am usually a runner in running shoes, but my doctor has put me on restricted activity because of pregnancy complications, so I am down to just walking. And my running shoes have been hurting my feet.
It seems like most barefoot exercisers do it outside, and most tend to run (not walk).
Any reason I shouldn't barefoot walk on my treadmill?
I am barefoot most of the time--I only wear shoes outside of the house--so my feet are kinda used to it. I did a 20 minute barefoot walk on the treadmill today just to test things out, and it seemed okay.
