Sausage and Fennel
This is the first primal meal that I devised, with help from my already primal husband, of course. We baked a TON of sausage links, and I chopped up three fennel bulbs and put those on top. I added some fronds for flavor and color. I topped the whole thing off with olive oil from California, salt, and pepper. I checked the ingredients in the sausage, and they seemed fine, no sugar or unnatural stuff. Here's the before photo, pre-baking at 400 degrees for 40 minutes.
And ready for eating.
It was a tasty meal and made for excellent lunches today.
