I'm thinking more and more about eating more "raw" foods- mostly just cooking my food less. Any thoughts, suggestions or recipes anyone can share?

Raw meat is even more pointless.

    The "Seven Deadly Sins"

    Grains (wheat/rice/oats etc) . . . . . Dairy (milk/yogurt/butter/cheese etc) . . . . . Nightshades (peppers/tomato/eggplant etc)
    Tubers (potato/arrowroot etc) . . . Modernly palatable (cashews/olives etc) . . . Refined foods (salt/sugars etc )
    Legumes (soy/beans/peas etc)

    Pointless, but tasty!

    Try these:

Sashimi at a sushi place (fish, mango and sauce)

    Steak tartare

I do a lot of raw food when I can. Lately Ive been so time strapped that its easy to fall into the "just saute it" mode. Ill ty to get up some recipes when my comp is virus free.

I would say that I eat most of my veg and fruit raw, or lightly cooked (wilted). My meat is cooked, albeit rare.

Life on Earth may be punishing, but it includes an annual free trip around the sun!

I think eating at least 1/3 raw is the way to go. 2/3 might be best.

Weston A Price's studies found that traditional peoples always ate tons of raw food.

I think the fitness spotlight article linked above did a good job pointing out that we can get benefits from cooked foods to, thus an all raw diet is problematic, but eating raw foods are clearly beneficial. Fresh squeezed vegetable juice makes me feel totally awesome.
