Exclamation Buffalo Wild Wings is mostly primal?

    Primal Fuel
I got a gift card for Buffalo Wild Wings for Christmas and decided to look up what they cook with. I found this:

    http://www.buffalowildwings.com/Glob...ergen_list.pdf

They say the wings are soy and gluten free and are cooked in beef tallow (probably low quality, but its fast food.) Several of the sauces also say that they don't contain wheat, gluten, or soy. They do have a disclaimer saying that some of the sauces might have refined soybean oil which isn't considered an allergen, but at least they aren't frying them in it!

Clearly it isn't the best food option out there, but seeing that they cook in tallow instead of rancid trans fats was a surprise for me. I wonder how many other fast foot places might be a little less crappy than we all assumed.

Tallow really surprises me, but it's good to know! My husband as been eyeing it because like 6 locations opened in my immediate area in the past 12 months. I always assumed it was a rancid vegetable oil pit, but I'm pleasantly surprised to learn otherwise.

Wait a moment...they are cooked in tallow? That is some damned good news.

That's great news. Unfortunately there isn't a BWW near me. I do get bone-in wings from Wings Over. Their site doesn't provide nutritional information, but does claim that all their wings contain gluten. I'm usually pretty sensitive to anything with grains, but I've eaten their wings plenty of times and never felt anything bad.

That is very cool. I was just near one and didn't eat there! Now I really regret that decision.

/mindasplode I seriously was wondering this and was just about to look it up. Buffalo Wild Wings is my most favorite place to eat out.

Good to know. I thought the wings were breaded in conventional flour and fried in vegetable/soy oil myself.
