Hi, just joined forum.
I am a 51 year old male - overweight/unfit and determined to improve my health and weight.
From what I read I am very excited about the primal diet.
I have dropped wheat so far and junk foods..
haven't started any real exercise other than walking..
Congratulations on taking charge of your health. Cutting out excessive wheat/sugar consumption and swapping it with natural primal approved foods is a huge step in the right direction, regardless of exercise. When you decide to be a little more ambitious with your exercise I recommend doing basic compound resistance stuff 2-3x a week - this kind of exercise will give you the biggest bang for your buck.
Just remember to focus on the fundamentals and not worry about being perfect 100% of the time. 80/20 rule is your friend. As you lose weight and improve your fitness don't be afraid to reevaluate things. For example, I started eating much more primal approved carbs later on and that has worked out well for me.
