    Today I ate: EVERYTHING.

    6 pieces of bacon
    1 cup coffee with cream
    1 Orange
    1 uh...bunch...of leftover chicken
    4 slices liverwurst
    1 avocado with lime
    1 granny smith apple, diced and fried in butter & cinnamon
    1 handful pistachios
    1 more handful pistachios
    several frozen pieces of pineapple
    2 tilapia filets with butter, garlic, dill & paprika

    Not a typical day - I wasn't feeling great, so I basically ate the world. Yikes!

    I did a carb refeed day because I realized I've been in ketosis since Oct 1. I woke up feeling crappy for the first time since going PB and thought I might need some extra carbs.

    Breakfast: coffee with butter, 3 egg omelet with spinach, half a sweet potato
    Lunch: whole sweet potato, a sausage, some roasted cauliflower
    Dinner: roast beef with horseradish and mayo, giant serving of wild rice, charred brussels sprouts
    Dessert: giant bowl of blueberries and strawberries with homemade hc whipped cream

    One banana, one orange, a green apple, a pound of ground beef with italian seasoning, ghost pepper salt and grey sea salt, four eggs, cooked in bacon grease. Handfull of grapes.

    Deviations = no coconut milk, only one cup of coffee to eliminate the headache (still tapering off coffee, on day 8).

    3 cups of coffee, or was that 4?

    meal one:
    1 chicken leg
    1 chicken wing
    lamb curry (tomato based sauce that I made from scratch - no "curry powder")

    meal two:
    2 sausages
    quarter cup of cashews
    cup of herbal tea
    2tb cream cheese
    Female, age 51, 5' 9"
    SW - 183 (Jan 22, 2012), CW - 159, GW - healthy.

    Met my 2012 goals by losing 24 pounds.
    2013 goals are to get fit and strong!

    Yes, I'm dropping the coffee since it's messing with my vision. I go as long as I can until the headache gets bad, then have half a cup or a whole cup to ward off the pointy demons. At this point, it seems to be an ineffective strategy! I might switch to green tea instead, or wait until my days off and go 100% cold turkey. But my eye is doing much better, even by simply reducing intake. A thing I read said that drinking too much coffee all at once is the main culprit behind spikes in intraocular pressure. I honestly don't want to quit coffee - it keeps my imagination from running too wild and prevents those pesky hopes and dreams from coming around. But I don't want to be blind, either...

    So far today I have had about 12 oz of salmon (some canned, some smoked), a big russet potato and about a cup and a half of plain goat yogurt. A little 85% chocolate and 2 cups of black coffee. I lifted and sprinted today. I'm still hungry.

    3 egg omelet (even included those icky whites ) with some sweet potato hash inside (bout half a tator)
    1/2 pound of hamburger (was still hungry after omlete)
    1 apple
    oxtail soup BIG bowl.
    homemade kraut
    3 pieces of Lindt 85%

    And did deadlifts today. Then I consumed the Olympic bar to feed my iron loving gut bacteria.
