I have grabbed one of those a few times when the alternative was a full on snickers bar..... I consider them a treat for myself. An occasional splurge. And they are yummy- right mix of salty and sweet. There are some non-primal things in there... soy lecithin, the sugars. They are what they are, a treat, a candy bar. Not a meal. I would not eat one daily, and they might be a barrier to weight loss. But better than a butterfinger, and once your tastebuds reset to be more sensitive to sugar they taste better than most candy.
I guess it depends on you. There are people for whom these would be unacceptable. But for me, these are OK as an occasional treat.
